Mainland Rare Rubber: streamlining supplier payment, from weighing to SAGE

Paying suppliers quickly and accurately is the crux of raw material purchasing. Mainland Rare Rubber was looking to make supplier payment easier — with, at the heart of the matter, complex premium calculation. That is what led them to AGRISOFT-CI.

The challenge: smooth payment, despite complex premiums

At Mainland Rare Rubber, supplier payment ran into complex premium rules (by quality, by tonnage range, by criteria), handled manually until then. Yet the premium is an integral part of the amount paid to the producer: without automation, payment is slow, hard to make reliable and error-prone.

The solution: Gescom between weighing and SAGE

We deployed Gescom at the heart of their chain, integrating it between two existing systems:

  • upstream, the weighing system (weighbridges), to start from reliable weighing data;
  • downstream, the SAGE accounting ERP, to which entries are exported.

In between, Gescom automates payment: its premium engine applies Mainland Rare Rubber's rules, and every payment traces back to a real weighing — from weighing all the way to accounting, with no re-entry.

The specificity: an application in Chinese

To meet the needs of Mainland Rare Rubber's teams, the application was translated into Chinese. A decisive advantage: everyone works in their own language, which reduces errors and speeds up adoption. It is also a concrete demonstration of Gescom's flexibility, already available in French, English, Chinese and Arabic.

The result

  • simplified, reliable supplier payment;
  • automated complex premium calculation, compliant with their rules;
  • a seamless chain: weighing → premiums → invoicing → export to SAGE;
  • a tool in the teams' language.

What Mainland Rare Rubber was looking for did not exist on the general-purpose market. A dedicated business application, however, was able to adapt to it — and integrate smoothly with their existing SAGE.
